Description
Our main charter base in the Ionian Sea is located in Preveza main port. The city of Preveza is accessible from a lot of countries through Aktion International Airport. The port is only 10 minutes taxi ride from the airport, passing through the Immersed Tunnel, the first and so far only undersea tunnel in Greece, which connects Preveza to Aktion. As Preveza is on the mainland you can also drive there with your own car or you can choose to reach the port of Igoumenitsa by ferry and then take a taxi to the main port of Preveza. The distance is 88 km.
Before or after your sailing trip we suggest you to take a few days to explore the picturesque old city of Preveza as well as the city of Parga, which lies at the shadow of its Venetian castle. You don't have to miss the river Acheron, known also from the Greek mythology, that flows into the Ionian Sea after a course of 64 kilometers. You can also visit many archeological sites such as the ancient Nicopolis area and the famous Nekromanteio.
The meeting point is at Kekeris Yachts welcome desk in front of our yachts's mooring places in Preveza's main port. Our staff will welcome you on board, explain you everything you need about your yacht and her equipment and make sure that you feel comfortable.
Preveza is the ideal starting point for sailing trips to the Ionian Sea. You will have the possibility to explore some of the most beautiful Greek islands, like Ithaki, Kefalonia and Lefkas. Upon your arrival feel free to ask us for our suggested itineraries. Our base manager will help you to organize your sailing route, according to your needs, by giving you detailed information about the islands, the ports and the bays you wish to visit.
